The More in Common STEM and Health Careers Academy will take place from July 29 - August 2, 2024. Since the students will be staying on campus, we will have 24-hour support for their care and safety.

• Middle school, high school and college students (1st or 2nd year) in the state of Kentucky 
• High school and college students must submit an essay about their career aspirations and motivation for attending the program
• Middle school students must be recommended by teachers
• Completed online application

Academy participants will participate in a variety of activities, including dissections, working with high-fidelity simulators, learning about pawpaw fruit, touring CHI Saint Joseph Health, working with drones, CPR Certification, and more!

Academy participants will stay on the campus of Kentucky State University in Frankfort, KY. They will be in the newest residence hall with state-of-the-art facilities. Academy counselors will also reside with participants to ensure their safety and compliance with academy rules.
